Teletubbie houses, poo bins and new bedrooms.

The last month has been rather hectic since we moved.  When we got here there were only two stables in the barn, one that had walls and a door so high that I think the beast of Dolphinholme must have lived in it!!  In the middle field there was a field shelter with a 'teletubbie' houses in one side. (The people who lived here previously had pedigree pigs and they have left four pig houses or 'teletubbie' houses around) so we had a lot of sorting out to do to accommodate our horses.  The first weekend we set to moving the teletubbie house out of the field shelter which had Alex and I in stitches as Peter got stuck and had to crawl through the plastic flaps on the door!!


I have fenced off a section of field so that we have an 'arena' to ride in and last weekend we put some jumps in for Alex and Millie.  I got Barry to put stud holes in Mez and Millies shoes so that they do not slip when we are riding in there.   So we are getting there slowly, we still have lots of jobs left to do and really need a mains electric box...if anyone has one for sale or knows of one please let me know.
The hacking up here is fantastic and I have been on five different hacks with Tilly.  Poor Mez has only ever hacked around the block at Nateby so is having to adjust to houses, bins, kerbs, poo bins, benches and the like!
